PHOTOS: VCHS boys basketball at Orange Glen

Still in search of their first win of the calendar year, the VCHS varsity boys basketball team lost its second heartbreaker of the week with a 45-43 loss at Orange Glen on Friday night.

The Jaguars were down big at halftime, but battled hard in the second half to have one last chance for a shot with 1.2 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Dominic Antonacci threw a long inbounds pass to Jacob Andreas, who had just enough time to launch a desperation shot that wouldn't fall, giving the Patriots the two-point win.

The Valley Center varsity girls soccer team hosted Orange Glen in the regular season finale on Friday night and dominated all phases of the game to take a 6-0 win.
