Video: VCHS football scrimmage vs Chula Vista

The VCHS football program hosted Chula Vista for a scrimmage on Friday night to open the 2013 season.

Though no official score was kept, the Jaguars thoroughly out-played the visiting Spartans on both sides of the ball. The VC offense scored three times, while the Jaguar defense created three turnovers and had a quarterback sack in the action.

The one damper on the evening was an injury to VC offensive lineman Dylan Tests, who went down in what appeared to be a significant amount of pain after blocking downfield on a screen pass. Tests' family later reported that he suffered a dislocated kneecap, and that he will have an MRI sometime in the next few days to get a more complete diagnosis. Dylan himself posted online Friday night that he was home and feeling much better, and that he hopes to be back out on the field in a few weeks.
