USPTA tennis instructor and Valley Center resident Peter Cooper has organized a round robin tennis tournament for beginner to advanced players ages 9 through 14 and above. This non-USTA sanctioned event will take place on Feb 27, from 1-4 p.m. (check-in is at 12:30) at the Adams Park tennis courts located at 28751 Cole Grade Road. Trophies will be awarded to the winning boy’s and girl’s players.
Cooper, a biochemist by trade who didn’t take up tennis until his early twenties, donates his time and resources to helping Valley Center teens get a head start – including valuable tournament experience – in this highly competitive sport.
