Friday night was the final home game of the season for the varsity football team, and the school honored the seniors from both the football team and the cheer squad before the game.

The Valley Center varsity football team hosted Mt. Carmel on Friday night and couldn't keep quite keep up, suffering a 44-29 loss in a wild game filled with big play after big play.

VIDEO: VCHS Homecoming 2013

Valley Center High School celebrated Homecoming on Friday night, with the annual parade of floats and the crowning of the king and queen.
This year, Thomas Stehly and Whitney Wilbanks were crowned king and queen, while the sophomores won for their New York City float in the parade.

The Valley Center varsity girls volleyball team traveled to Orange Glen on Wednesday and brought home a 3-0 win, with game scores of 25-21, 25-11, 25-9.
